Soneri Bank came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. They were scoring at a decent rate as Taha Mirza stood tall from the other end & kept the score board ticking despite wickets falling from the other end. The bowlers were dominant as they kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Farhan Ul Haq came in & put up a decent partnership with Taha Mirza. The duo kept the score board ticking before Farhan Ul Haq was dismissed after scoring 17 runs off 23 deliveries. Taha Mirza followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 61 runs off 54 deliveries holding the innings together. Syed Muhammad Danish Kalim came in & contributed with 10 off 7. The bowlers creeped their way back into the game as they picked up quick wickets at the death. Asim mukhtar, Zohaib Rizwan & Akhter Abbas picked up a couple of wickets each. Soneri Bank posted a total of 130 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Jubilee Life Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Ibad Anis & Muhammad Hafeez put up a solid partnership at the top of the innings as the opening duo gave their team the perfect start. Ibad Anis played the role of the aggressor as he scored a brisk 36 off 27 where as Muhammad Hafeez played cautiously scoring 14 runs off 24 deliveries. Abdul Ahad came in & contributed with his 12 off 14. Zohaib Rizwan came in & he played with the same intent but the bowlers made their way back into the match as the bowlers started picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Zohaib Rizwan stood tall at the other end but he was running out of partners as wickets were falling left right & center. Zohaib Rizwan departed after scoring run a ball 26. Adnan Sarwar managed to pickup a couple of wickets where as Dabeer Ullah, Shahid Jiwani, Rehan Hanif & Taha Mirza managed to pickup a wicket each. Jubilee Life Insurance were bowled out for 126 runs.
