The Dollar East Premier League continued at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium as Soni took on Bin Qasim.
The Soni Associates were put in to bat first and Musharaf Khan along with his opening partner Ahmed Hussain got their team off to a flyer. They scored 31 and 23 respectively to put Soni Associates in a strong position from the get go. Rizwan Qureshi continued the good work top scoring with 27 before Fahad Jabbar's two wickets made in roads in to the game for Bin Qasim, restricitng Soni to a respectable yet modest 147.
Bin Qasim opener Fauz Ul Hassan led the chase for his team scoring 39 of just 22 balls. However, Farhan and Sadiq Khan continued to knock over wickets on the other end and the match seemed to be over when Rizwan Qureshi dismissed Fahad Anjum for just 1 run. The match was in for another turn as Mohammad Bin Qasim led his team to a comeback making a half century at over a run a ball. His innings included 4 boundaries and one maximum before Farhan Khan struck for the third time in the night, this time eliminating all hopes for Bin Qasim.
