Sons of Pitches batted first against Dirty Dozen and lost opener Noman Arfeen for duck. The team lost a few wickets cheaply early on before Irfan Ali stirred the recovery. His impressive 76 under pressure changed the momentum with Ali Aamir also chipping in 41. A few sprinklings of cameos helped boost Sons of Pitches to a very competitive 202 in just 19.3 overs. Dirty Dozen bowlers fought hard to try and restrict the opposition with Bilal Akhleem, Shahan Ahmed and Abid Aslam taking 2 wickets each.
Dirty Dozen were off to an equally disastrous start, losing their top order early on in the chase. Saad Khamisani and Taimoor Butt tried to pull their team back in the game with knocks of 30 and 38 respectively but it was insignificant against the big total. Hasan Jafri also knocked a fiery 41 as Dirty Dozen ended at 138 for 6 in 20 overs. SOP bowlers Ali Aamir and Moiz Hassan took 2 wickets each.
Sons of Pitches won by 64 runs.
