Soorty Denim came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets early on. The bowlers had their tail up as they rattled the top order. Ghayoor Mehmood & Sufiyan Rasheed then put up a sublime partnership of 50+ runs taking their team out of misery. The duo took the counter attack towards the bowlers & there was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends. Sufiyan Rasheed played a cameo of 38 runs off just 17 deliveries. Ghayoor Mehmood stood tall from the other end taking his team to a challenging total. Ghayoor Mehmood remained unbeaten as he played a fighting total of 73 runs off 40 deliveries. Akhter Abbas & Asim mukhtar picked up a couple of wickets each. Soorty Denim posted a total of 183 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Jubilee Life Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Ibad Anis & Asim Farooq put up a decent partnership at the top with Ibad Anis scoring 20 off 11 & Asim Farooq scoring 25 off 26. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers started to tighten things for the batsmen. Zohaib Rizwan came in & he started to score freely but he was running out of partners as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Wickets kept on falling left right & center but he stood tall from the other end as he played a fighting innings of 61 runs off 40 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him. Naveed Ahmed lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Imran Javed & Imran Shareef who picked up a couple of wickets each. Jubilee Life Insurance managed to score 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
