Stikers Cricket Club took on Alliance Sports at the New Navy Cricket Ground on 15-11-2015.
The Strikers batted first and put up a respectable 142 at the loss of 9 wickets at a run rate that was a shade over 7 an over. Opener Saad Shah led the batting lineup from the front scoring 46 of just 40 balls. The rest of the top order failed to make any substantial contribution. The innings was stabalized in the middle overs by Yasir Tanveer and Waqas Vakil before Nadeem Akhthar capped off the innings with a rapid 24 to take the total to 142 in 20 overs.
The Alliance Sports batsmen put up a dismal show barring opener Ali Mansoor who scored 49 of just 39 balls. The rest of the batsmen hardly managed to put up 70 runs between them. Waqas Saleem was the star bowler picking up 3 wickets while Nadeem Akhthar picked up 2 wickets to restrict Alliance Sports to just 123 at the loss of 9 wickets.
