Stoneage Stallions v 10 Pearls (20 over match)
Stoneage Stallions batted first with opener Saadi scoring a blistering 82 runs to set his team off to a flying start. He received little support from the rest of the batsmen however who were unable to face the bowling attack and contributed very little with the bat. Faraz Haroon was the star bowler, taking 4 key wickets and restricting the opposition. Stoneage Stallions eventually posted a target of 156 in 20 overs.
In response, 10 Pearls were off to a solid start with an opening partnership of over 70 runs. Wickets fell regularly after that before Taimoor Liaquat stepped in to contribute with a fighting knock of 28 runs. The team were well on-course to win the match but some brilliant death bowling restricted the opposition who were unable to get over the line. Saadi and Mohsin were in-form and on fire picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively and helped defend the team's total. 10 pearls scored 152 runs in 20 overs.
Stoneage Stallions won by 3 runs.
