Master Blasters met Wintex Strikers at MKCA in a group match of the Fit in 5 Night League.
Wintex Strikers batted first and they had a miserable start as their openers departed early but Samad Ghani stood like a rock and scored 72 runs, hitting 11 fours and a six that fell into the adjacent apartments, and was able partnered by Saad Ahmed who scored 62 of just 32 balls which helped Wintex Strikers score a massive 226 for the loss of 7 wickets
In the chase of 227 Shehzad bowled Irfanullah early in the innings but Shoaib played a fantastic knock of 92 runs of 49 balls hitting 9 sixes which kept Master Blasters in the chase. After his departure and those of Irfan 23(16) and Kashif 34(21) the tail failed to maintain the run rate as Master Blasters folded for 193 runs for the lost of 7 wickets in 20 overs and conceded the match by 33 runs.
