Abdul Hadi Strikers batted first against Sportics Stars at the opening match of the Sheikhani Premier League Season 2. Strikers were off to a rocky start after losing their opener and one down cheaply however Muhammad Farhan's sensational 60 at the top and Saqib Sadiq's 56 pulled their team right back into the game. Obaid Ghazi was outstanding in his spell with a fifer that ripped through the opposition. Muzammil Taufiq also picked up a couple of wickets but Strikers eventually ended at a competitive 194 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Sportics Stars were dismal in their chase. Talha Ahmedani was dismissed for just 4 runs which sparked a collapse. With the exception of Faraz Ahmed's 30, none of the other batsmen were able to effectively contribute as Sportics Stars were dismissed for 113 in 16.1 overs. Fahad Dedhi was the key wicket taker for his side with 3 scalps while Adnan Ghazi and Bilal Iqbal took 2 wickets each.
Abdul Hadi Strikers won by 81 runs.
