Mavericks Stars Cricket Club came in to bat first. They were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they still managed to score at a good rate. Muhammad Sufiyan played a sublime knock of 66 runs off 34 deliveries. Saqib Malik looked promising until he was dismissed for 28 runs. Ali Sohail came in next & scored a quick fire 35. Rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Faiz Ahmed lead the bowling lineup picking up 2 wickets. Mavericks Stars Cricket Club scored 167 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Sugar Shack came in to chase this target. They were off to a similar start as they lost 3 wickets early on as well but scored at a healthy rate. Ekramah Yaqoob & Yashfeen Haider steadied the ship. Ekramah Yaqoob managed to score 32 runs while Yashfeen Haider scored 20. Abdul Basit Zaki came in next & scored 22 runs. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals but were unable to contain the flow of runs. Umar Aslam came in towards the back end of the innings & played a fiery knock of 28 runs off just 14 balls. Ikram Khan picked up 2 wickets but it was too little too late.
