Saeed Usmani and Haseeb Khan were the opening batsmen and they gave a decent start by scoring a partnership of 26 runs together. Shahid Khan proved to be the batsman of the innings with his brilliant performance. He remained not out and scored 31 runs for his team. Tahir Nakkash also shined among the few good batsmen and he scored a half century for his side. Reckitt and Benckiser were looking sharp at the start of the second innings with their opening pair, who gave them one hell of a start and probably the confidence to look forward for a victory. After their dismissal we saw two likely performances by Owais Hassan and Umair Tariq who scored 31 runs each and carried a partnership of 62 runs. The top batting order’s performance brought their side very close to the victory but who knew that Summit Bank was just warming up and they actually came out with a brutal bowling attack that not only dismantled the opposition’s batting line up but also stopped them from scoring any more runs.
