Falaknaz Hawks came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start as they lost 2 wickets early on in the powerplay. Amir Majeed & M Alam Bhimani had a partnership of 50+ runs taking their team out of trouble. Amir Majeeb was then dismissed after scoring 30 runs & Alam followed him sooner after playing a fiery knock of 49 runs. The bowlers then kept the pressure on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Hammad Warind, Rehman Bumbia & Yaseen Quddus picked up a couple of wickets each keeping the batsmen in check. Falaknaz Hawks managed to score 138 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
Sumya Builder & Gladiators came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start. Their openers had a partnership of 50+ runs with Haris Altaf scoring 37 runs & was well supported by Younus Tai who scored 26 runs. After the Partnership was broken the bowlers still didn’t have much success as Saad Asif stood tall. He played a sublime innings of 43 runs taking his team over the line. Osama Ayub & Abdullah Afzal picked up a wicket each but were unable to contain the batting side from chasing down this total.
