Karachi Boat Club batted first against Super Daddy Cricket Club in a do or die match at the Bold presents 1st KK Amateur League.
The batting side were off to a strong start with their top order contributing runs effectively. Arham got things started with a handy 22 while Usman scored 35. Abdul Rehman however was the real star for KBC, scoring a valuable 56 off 37 including 6 fours. Ahmed Monoo also chipped in with a cameo of 28 but the team sort of crumbled after that. Daddies bowlers did well to get the breakthroughs, picking up wickets consistently, never letting the game get away from them. 3 disastrous run outs had KBC restricted to 150 for 6 in 20 overs.
In response, Super Daddy Cricket Club made quick work of the chasing side. Rehan Shaikh was sensational in his knock of 75 off 57 which included 13 fours. Adeel Mansha also scored 33 but the KBC bowlers were no match for the Daddies line up. Super Daddies chased down the target in 18.5 overs. Ahsan Khan took 2 wickets in vain.
Super Daddy Cricket Club won by 7 wickets and are through to the semi finals.
