Sons of Pitches winning streak has been broken! Shahram Rasool and his merry men of the Super Daddy Cricket Club went up against a confident side and came out on top.
Sons of Pitches batted first and lost 2 quick wickets. Opener Farhad Khan however played the anchor role for his side with a fiery 55. Skipper Kumail Ally also chipped in with 24 but the SOP side had lost too many wickets early on. Super Daddy bowlers were in form and on fire with Ali Amin taking 4 for 16. Naeem Siddiqui also chipped in with 2 wickets as Sons of Pitches posted a target of 160 in 20 overs.
In response, Super Daddy CC were off to an equally disastrous start in the chase, losing 3 of their top order batsmen cheaply. It then took Adnan Amjad's responsible 57 and skipper Shahram's 49 runs to steer their side to recovery. Eventually, Naeem Siddiqui's cameo of 26 helped Super Daddy CC chase down the target in 19.1 overs. SOP bowlers Ali Aamir and Moiz Hassan threatened the opposition, taking 2 wickets each but it wasn't enough to defend the total.
Super Daddy CC won by 4 wickets.
