Super Daddy CC registered a big victory against Team Cartel CC. Super Daddy batted first and looked as if their batsmen were sound. Opener Shehriyar Younus’s 21 off 17 balls paired with a wonderful 50 not out by Rehan Shaikh helped the team set a defendable score against their opponents. Although a few wickets were loss in the middle, a cameo from Shehzad Jumani, who smashed 47 off just 24 balls, brought Super Daddy to a total of 169 runs. Cartel CC’s bowlers were put under pressure by the batsmen. Usman picked up 2 wickets.
Team Cartel CC’s batting innings never really took off as they lost both openers for single digit scores. Although Usman’s 16 runs and Daniyal’s 26 runs offered some resistance to Super Daddy’s bowlers, the team could not pull through after their dismissals. Super Daddy’s bowlers powered through the batting lineup and dismissed the batsmen for low scores, and the team only managed to put up 82 runs. Ali Mufti took a 3 wicket haul while Zeeshan Momia bagged 2 wickets.
Super Daddy won the match by a comprehensive 87 runs.
