Super Daddy Cricket Club defeated Eagles Cricket Club in a friendly match held on Saturday.
Batting first, Super Daddy were off to a good start as Shehryar Qadir made 39 off 28 balls while Rehan Shaikh scored a run-a-ball 43. Their efforts were supported by Ayman, who made 25 off 28 balls. However, the remaining batsmen did not contribute much to the team’s score. They managed 144 runs. Eagles’ Badar took 3 wickets while Rehan Nazim took 2.
Although Eagles lost one of their openers early in their batting innings, Rehan Nazim scored 56 off 48 balls to put his team back in the game. Jaleel’s 45 off 35 balls further stabilized the team but after they were dismissed, the batting lineup fell apart. The team came close to the target but fell short by 5 runs. Zain Anwar and Shameer took 2 wickets each.
Super Daddy won the match by 5 runs.
