Gulberg Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing one of their openers on the first ball they were scoring at a high rate. Wasif Mustafa & Syed Shaheer put up a partnership of 150+ runs giving their team a flying start. Both the batsmen were in fine form & they made full use of their form hitting the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. Despite Wasif Mustafa playing at a quick rate Syed Shaheer completely over shadowed him. He destroyed the bowling attack with his masterful power hitting. The bowlers tried everything they had but he was in absolute beast mode hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground. Wasif Mustafa departed after playing a sublime knock of 69 runs off 42 deliveries. Irteza Khan came in & he played with the same intent. Irteza Khan played a fiery innings of 42 runs off just 13 deliveries where as Syed Shaheer showed us an absolute batting masterclass as he played a dismissive innings of 139 runs off just 65 deliveries. An innings which consisted of 10 boundaries & 11 towering sixes. Gulberg Warriors posted a mammoth total of 265 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets.
