The Wintex Strikers took on the TNN Titans as the Memon Premier League resumed on 17-11-2015 at the RCLA Gulberg.
Batting first, the Titans managed to post 151 at the loss of 8 wickets courtesy a fantastic batting display by Shakir Sekant. He scored 40 runs at an unbelievable strike rate in just 14 balls before being bowled by Star Veteran Adeel Abbasi. Shaaz Shajani, Owais Pasta and Khalid Gaba contributed cameos of 20's in the middle order to take the score to 151. Naveed Nagda and Saad Dawood picked up 2 wickets for the Strikers.
The Strikers began their innings as Adnan Salim kicked off the chase with his 28. His dismissal by Shaaz led the solid middle order combination of Ahmar Amir and Adeel Abbasi to the middle. They put on a 40 run stand as the match looked in the balance for both teams to grab. It was at this point that Hunain Usman stepped up to the plate and delivered for his side as he dismissed both the set batsmen and picked up Rameez Mehboob's wicket as well. The match seemed to be tilting the Titans way but Tayyab Balagamwala refused to give up the chase. He scored a quick fire 17 of just 8 balls and supported by Abdur Rehaman, the two managed to pull off a highly unlikely victory for the Wintex Strikers.
