Team Epharm and Siccotel went against each other on 19th November at DHA Sports Club.
Mohsin Ahmed Pai and Abdullah Tawab opened the innings for Siccotel scoring 12 and 9 runs respectively. The batting lineup collapsed, as the bowlers dominated. Ali Chawla and Farooq Zaki were clinical, as they bagged 3 wickets each. Haris Batla, the one-down batter, was the highest scorer of the innings with 16 runs only. Hence, Siccotel posted a total of 117 runs at the loss of all wickets.
Team Epharm’s successful chase was opened by Said Naseem’s dashing batting. He smashed 66 runs off 47 balls, hitting 7 fours and 1 six. Haris Batla was phenomenal with his efforts and bagged 4 wickets at an economy rate of 2.50 in just 2 overs. However, his efforts went in vain, as he was unable to capture the batters in pressure. Anas Tariq played a cameo of 24 runs. Hence, driving the team closer to the target.
As a result, Team Epharm secured victory in the 17th over only at the loss of 5 wickets.
