Mothercare and Team Epharm went against each other on 24th September at DHA Sports Club.
Saad Suleman Chawlo and Muhammad Mustafa Zeeshan opened the innings for Mothercare. Though Saad scored 11 runs, however, Mustafa was caught out on M Zohaib’s ball on a duck. M Zohaib wa sphenomenal with the ball, as he bagged 4 crucial wickets. Sohail Fazal scored 42 runs and was successful in stabilizing the innings. However, Ali Chawla and Zohaib’s duo made it difficult for the batters to capture momentum. Ali bagged 3 wickets at an economy rate of 7.50. Hence, Mothercare posted a total of 120 runs.
Mudassir Ul Haq and Saif Naseem opened the second innings for a chase. The opening duo scored a collective of 63 runs. Though the duo was dismissed by Abdul Rehman Ibrahim and Farrukh Chawla respectively. However, the bowling tactic remained ineffective, as Anas Mustafeez smashed 38 runs of 28 balls.
Therefore, Epharm chased the low score in the 16th over only and won the match by 7 wickets.
