The Orchid Premier League came to a close with Terry World Tigers and DSA Cricket Club going head to head at Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Ground. DSA CC batted first with openers Ameer Raza Khan and Sajid Mushtaq contributing runs at the top with 17 and 24 runs respectively. The team then lost their footing with a flurry of quick wickets before Imran Ali singlehandedly tried to save his side with a valuable 45 run knock. None of the other batsmen were able to effectively contribute, throwing away their wickets as the team imploded for just 116 runs in 19.2 overs. Tigers bowlers kept at it with Adeel Abbasi's 4 for 9 ripping through the opposition and Rehan Hanif also taking 3 wickets.
In response, Terry World Tigers lost opener Rehan Tanoli for just 1 run and one down Usman Ghani for duck but recovered very well after that. Talha Ahmedani scored 32 runs and played a supportive role to Adeel Khan who simply took over smashing 62 off 36 including 4 boundaries to crown Terry World Tigers champions. After their early breakthroughs, DSA were unable to capitalize any further as Terry World Tigers chased down the target in 14.3 overs.
Terry World Tigers won the Orchid Premier League by 6 wickets.
