Semi Final#2 as Challengers went up against Thunders at the Adamjee Tape Ball League. Batting first, Challengers opener Usman Siddiqui was simply unstoppable. The skipper smashed an unbelievable 63 off 23 balls including 7 sixes to set up a competitive target of 91 runs. He received little support on the other end with minor cameos of 12 and 11 respectively. Thunders bowlers were most ineffective.
In response, Thunders were determined to secure their place in the final. An all round strong team effort saw Umair's knock of 20 and Asad Anwar's 26 and Tayyab Ahmed's 22 help Thunders comfortably over the line in 5.1 overs. Shoaib Ahmed did well in his spell, picking up 2 wickets but unable to defend his team's total.
Thunders won by 7 wickets.
