Titans Cricket Club played Clifton Cricket Team at Young Fighters Cricket Ground in a friendly match.
Titans batted first and got off to a flying start as openers Umair and Aslam started treating the bowling with disdain. Umair smashed 3 fours and 2 sixes but fell for 29 off 12. His dismissal brought Agha to the crease and he along with Aslam took the innings forward at a brisk pace. Aslam fell 5 short of a well deserved half century and Agha got 25 almost at a run a ball. A late middle order collapse followed but a muscling 37 off 18 by Shehzad ensured the Titans got to a 179 even though they were bowled out with a ball to spare.
Clifton did not get off to the ideal start losing opener Shezad to Ahad for a duck on the second ball of the innings. Asif(15) and Rahim(13) also could not capitalize on their starts and the match seemed to be heading for an early end. Wahab however managed to stop the slide momentarily scoring 56 off 37 balls and along with Waqar(38) managed to add some substance to the team's batting effort. However Clifton couldn't really recover from the early loss of wickets and slumped to a 23 run defeat.
