Tnn Titans and Rims Lions, two evenly matched teams came head to head in the final of the Memon Premier League Season 6 at RLCA Gulberg Cricket Ground. Titans batted first and Sabih Merchant with 16 and Shakir Serang with 20 runs got them off to a good start. However, it was meant to be Bilal Umer’s day as he displayed his class with some exquisite shots all around the park and made batting on this difficult pitch look easy as he scored 91 runs off 56 deliveries at a strike rate of 162% and his innings included 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. Dawood Dawson played a supportive role to Bilal by rotating the strike and scoring 32 runs off 31 balls. Titans ended at 181 for 4 in 20 overs. For Lions, Muhammad Asad was key in taking 3 wickets while Rabish Ahmed picked up a wicket.
In Reply, Lions lost opener Hammad Sheikhani after he had scored just 1 run but Muzammil Mehboob with 43 runs and Rabish Ahmed with 40 runs started the counter resistance but when both of them fell, Hunain Usman ripped through the middle order and only Idrees Amin got 15 runs as Rims Lions ended at 149 for 9 in 20 overs. For Titans, Hunain Usman took 4 wickets while Abdus Samad got 2 wickets and Ubaid Umer picked up a wicket.
TNN TITANS won the match comfortably by 32 runs and are the deserving Champions of Memon Super League Season 6
