Karachi Patriots batted first in the all important final and were off to a solid start with opener Tayyab Balagamwala scoring a solid 30 runs to get his team going. The team however struggled with the bat, losing wickets regularly and unable to gain any substantial momentum. Some poor running between the wickets resulted in 2 run outs and none of the batsmen were able to contribute significantly for their side. Idrees Amin was the star bowler for the Titans, picking up 2 crucial wickets and limiting the opposition to just 144 in 20 overs.
TNN Titans came out charged and ready to chase the total. Opener Bilal Pervaiz set the tone right, scoring 42 runs at strike rate of 113. Sameer Ahmedani, Adnan Ghazi and Rizwan Merchant fought hard to defend the total, picking up 2 wickets each but were unable to stop the flow of runs. Owais Pasta was the hero of the day, scoring a match winning knock of 43 runs pushing them closer to the cup. TNN Titans scored 148 in 18.4 overs.
