Trail Blazers Lions went up against Tai Builders & Developers Panthers at the Jetpur Cricket League final. Batting first, Lions were charged up and ready to go with Bilal Lakhani turning up for their side contributing a brilliant 61. Adamjee Tai and Saad Asif also chipped in with cameos in their twenties but Salman Sheikhani then pulled back the opposition well. He struck with the ball taking 4 quick wickets to stop the flow of runs. Hamza Mukaty also kept the pressure on with 3 wickets in his spell as Trail Blazers Lions ended at 163 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Tai Builders & Developers completely fell apart in the chase. After losing opener Fahad cheaply, the team continued to lose wickets in regular intervals. Adnan Salim and Arshad Tai tried to pull their side to recovery with knocks of 32 and 33 runs respectively but could not build their innings further. Lions were always in the game with Owais Sultanpur carving a wonderful fifer in his spell and giving little away. Zain Rauf also picked up a couple with bowling unit chipping in to dismiss Panthers for 134 in 18.4 overs.
