UBL Insurers went against Jubilee Life Insurance on 18th December at Lawai Cricket Ground.
Batting first, UBL posted a target of 184 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Pervaiz Ali and Irfan Rehmat, the opening pair, added 31 and 11 runs respectively. Areeb Salman and Yahya scored 30+ runs each. While Kamran Wali and Jameel Ahmed played cameos of 20+. Junaid Ansari stood out with 2 wickets, while 4 bowlers bagged a wicket each.
Ibad Anis and Muhammad Hafeez gave a sloppy start to the team, as they got out on 10 runs and a duck respectively. Zohaib Rizwan tried to stabilise the innings with his knock of 34 off 39. However, the bowlers kept on building pressure. Pervaiz led the attack, knocking off 3 wickets. In addition to this, Kamran and Muhammad Shan took 2 wickets.
As a result, UBL defended their score 20 overs, restricting the opponents to 113 runs at a loss of 8 wickets.
