Jetpur Strikers batted first against Bantva Lions at the Memon Cricket League (MCL) and struggled against the opposition. The top order simply could not get going and with the exception of Fahad Yahya's 32, the others fell cheaply. Saad Asif's 39 and Idrees Amin's 45 then helped stabilize their side, posting runs on the board to help boost Bantva Lions to a competitive 155 for 5 in 20 overs. Osama Ayub did well to keep things contained, picking up 3 wickets in his spell.
In response, Bantva Lions cruised to victory with the help of Umair Yousuf's brilliant 75 run knock. Rabish Ahmed also chipped in with 23 runs along with Adeel Sabuwala's 43 not out. Strikers bowlers were ineffective against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when needed and could not exert any pressure.
Bantva Lions won by 8 wickets.
