The Uni Tigers beat the Shaheen XI by five wickets at the Asifabad Ground last week.
Shaheen XI did not perform well and only managed to make 108 runs in 19 overs. The highlights from this innings were a 25 from 19 by Mohsin, a 28 from 24 by Arsalan and 16 from 19 by Anas. Muhammad Danish Meer took three big wickets while Abdullah took two and Abdul Qadir Jr, Ahmed Malik, Abdul Qadir and Hussain took one each.
Fahad Khan gave Uni Tigers the winning start that they needed by making 51 from 23. Despite the poor performance of the rest of the batting order, the damage had already been done and thanks to 16 extra runs, the Uni Tigers chased the target in 10.5 overs for the loss of five wickets. Aman took three wickets while Mohsin took one.
