From the start Uqbah Xi were in deadly form as opener Junaid knocked 104 runs off 50 balls at a strike rate of 208% and he hit 17 boundaries in his knock. Maaz Sheikh followed up with 53 off 31 and Sadiq Suriya got 18 runs as Uqbah XI ended at a mammoth 259 for 5 in 20 overs. For Eleven star, the bowlers were in a fix throughout against the run fest by Uqbah Xi batsmen and all were expensive as far as their bowling figures were concerned. The wicket takers included Ahmad and Hamza with 2 wickets each and Intisam with 1 wicket.
Faced with the daunting task of chasing down a high total, Eleven Star were never in the game as wickets kept falling and only Arbaz with 62, Ahmed with 25 and Osama with 24 runs put up some resistance as Eleven Star ended at 159 for 8. For Uqbah XI, Hamza, Uqbah and Junaid took 2 wickets each while Muhammad Sarfaraz picked up a wicket.
A crushing defeat by Uqbah XI and a one sided affair whereby Uqbah Xi showed their dominance and strength.
