Jetpur Strikers batted first against Vanthali Warriors at the Memon Cricket League (MCL) and were off to a disastrous start. After losing opener Saad Noor for duck, the team struggled throughout the innings with the exception of Muhammad Saad and captain Usman Ghani who kept the scoreboard ticking with fighting knocks of 52 and 40 respectively. The rest of the team were outdone by a fantastic display of bowling Naveed Nagda who picked up 3 wickets in his spell to rattle the Strikers line up. Salman Dossani and Rehan Hanif also took 2 wickets each as Jetpur Strikers were bowled out for 147 in 19.5 overs.
In response, Vanthali Warriors came out strong in the chase. Opener Rameez Mehboob contributed a cameo of 24 but it was his partner Amir Majeed who once again came through for his side. His knock of 63 came off just 50 deliveries and set the path for victory. Strikers bowlers struggled to contain the opposition, unable to pick wickets and strike when needed. Farrukh Rangonia's 23 run innings eventually saw Vanthali Warriors chase down the target in 18.4 overs.
Vanthali Warriors won by 6 wickets.
