Vikings CC came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The top order struggled to stay on the crease. On the other hand Saad looked like he was batting on a completely different pitch. He blew away the bowling lineup with his impressive power hitting. Despite the bowlers taking quick wickets from the other end he took the attack towards the bowlers hitting out every bowler that was brought into the attack. He played a sublime knock of 60 runs off just 26 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Ahmed Raza & Umer Zohaib came in & put up a partnership of 50+ runs at the back end of the innings gaining some sort of momentum to the innings. Ahmed Raza played a solid knock of 34 runs off 29 deliveries. Umer Zohaib played a cameo of 46 runs off just 20 deliveries giving his team the much needed momentum & ending the innings on a high. Salman Khurram lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Vikings CC posted a total of 164 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Falcon Star came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Adil Umer & Haseeb Farid put up a solid partnership at the top. Adil Umer took the attack towards the bowlers picking up boundaries at regular intervals. Haseeb Farid played second fiddle to him as he scored 18 runs off 21 deliveries. Faisal came in & he scored 18 runs off 19 deliveries. The bowlers then made their way back into the match picking up 3 quick wickets. Adil Umar kept on playing with the same pace. He was looking solid & was cruising towards victory before he was dismissed after playing a sublime knock of 77 runs off 45 deliveries. Hasnain Iqbal came in & he played a cameo of 14 runs off 9 deliveries but it was too little too late. Zohaib Raza & Ahsan Kumrat lead the bowling attack picking up a couple of wickets each.
