Viper XI Vs Dolphins
Dolphins batted first against the Viper XI. Amaan Shakeel gave a decent start with his knock of 20 runs but received zero help from his fellow opener, Naveed Ahmed who went down for a duck. Talha Yahya came in at number three and scored a magnificent 35 runs followed by Rizwan Jahangir’s knock of 20 runs. The middle batting order was dismantled brutally by Saqib Inam who managed to pick up 3 wickets and restricted the opposition from setting a huge target for his side. Khurram Arshad scored 49 runs just off 27 balls, while hitting 2 massive sixes. At the end of 20 overs, Dolphins had scored a total of 167 runs in 20 overs.
Viper Xi were off to a majestic start in the second innings with Waqas and Jawad who scored 19 and 27 runs respectively, providing their team with one hell of a start to the chase. Usama Naseer was the third man in and he dazzled his team with his performance and took them all the way to glory while scoring 72 runs. Saqib Inam contributed to the chase by scoring 17 runs and in the end it was Faraz alongside Usama to seal the victory for Viper XI. They chased the target in 19.1 overs.
