Watan Dost’s century too hot to handle for Stallions

Vigo Boys came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers made full use of their form giving their team a flying start. Watan Dost & Muhammad Arshid put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. The duo blasted away the bowling attack as their was clean power hitting on display from both the ends. Both the batsmen took the bowlers to the cleaners. Muhammad Arshid departed after playing a fiery innings of 53 runs off 37 deliveries. Shayan Adamjee came in & scored 22 runs off 11 deliveries. Watan Dost on the other hand kept on playing with the same intent scoring quick runs. Malik Karar Ali came in towards the end of the innings & played a cameo of 21 runs off just 8 deliveries ending the innings on a high. Watan Dost remained unbeaten as he played a sublime knock of 116 runs off just 60 deliveries picking apart the bowling attack. Abdul Hameed managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Vigo Boys posted a mammoth total of 234 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.

Stallions came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Murtaza Shahid & Waqar Hafeez Vicky put up a solid partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a decent start. Murtaza Shahid scored 45 runs off 30 deliveries where as Waqar Hafeez Vicky palyed a fiery innings of 52 runs off 32 deliveries. Fahad Anwer came in & played a cameo of 27 runs off 14 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their way back into the match. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Muhammad Zaki, Ahsan Wali, Hammad Khan & Muhammad Shahriyar picked up a couple of wickets each. Stallions were bowled out for 187 runs.
