Energetic Emeralds Vs Charging Corals
Noor uddin and Taha Qadi were the opening batsmen from the Energetic Emeralds side and got things underway in the first innings of the match. Noor Uddin had a quite disappointing start as he went down after scoring 3 runs only, no matter, Taha Qadi did come to the teams rescue and scored a brilliant 60 runs for his side. Taha Qadi was literally the only batsman to score in the double figures and also above 10. Rest of the batting order failed tremendously on scoring even above 10 for themselves. Huzaifa was the highest wicket from his side with 2 wickets to his name. At the end of 20 overs, Energetic Emeralds had scored a total of 105 runs after losing 9 wickets.
Charging Corals looked pretty confident as they stepped onto the pitch to bat in the second innings of the match and chase the total of 105 runs. The opening pair gave a slow start with a partnership of only 16 runs but Mansoor added 14 more as he came in at number three. Mustansir Naeem was the man who gave a strong yet terrifying blow after blow to the top batting order and picked up 3 crucial wickets. None of the batsmen after were able to score much. They did put up a good fight, but the bowling attack was just too good for them and they lost all of their wickets in 16 overs at the total of 97 runs.
