Wintex Strikers took on Bubbers in a Fit in 5 Night Tournament match at Moin Khan Cricket Academy on 28 March 2016.
Bubbers batted first on a beautiful batting wicket and lost Iraj for a golden duck. However his opening partner Wahid Ahmed took his time to settle in and scored a vital 52 off 40 balls while continuously losing partners at the other end. None of the other batsmen were able to cross 20 and on a true batting wicket Bubbers ended up with a score of 155 thanks largely to the bowling effort of H.Ahmed who picked up three wickets for a mere 19 runs.
Wintex came out all guns blazing as Ahmed Arshad and Adnan Salim blazed boundaries from the start. Ahmed however couldn't keep it going for too long as he fell for 27. Adnan did not let his partners dismissal affect him as he continued on his merry ways scoring an imperious century and ended not out on 112 off only 39 balls, a strike rate of 287. This meant Wintex were able to wrap up the game inside 12 overs and won with 9 wickets in hand.
