Wintex Strikers and Suleman Textile Stallions battled it out at the all important final of the Memon Super League (Season 4).
Batting first, Stallions were off to a roaring start with opener Nauman Ampara turning up for his side. The opener scored a valuable 67 off 52 which included 6 Fours and 2 sixes. Shahid Mirani and Fahad Jabbar also chipped in with 22 and 23 runs respectively as Stallions kept the scoreboard ticking. Wintex bowlers picked wickets in regular intervals, never letting the game get away from them. Eventually, Hamza Qadir's handy 25 helped Suleman Textile Stallions reach 170 for 6 in 20 overs. Idrees Amin was the key wicket taker with 2 scalps.
In response, Wintex Strikers absolutely dominated the 2nd innings, leaving no room for the Stallions bowlers to pick wickets. Opener Ahmed Hussain was in fine form, scoring 87 off 47 which included 6 Fours and 7 sixes. Suleman Saleem scored 55 off 49 while Ali Iqbal scored 23 off 15. Wintex Strikers chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
