Ridan Warriors went head to head against Hill Park CC at the 21st Challengers Cup. Batting first, Warriors lost Adeel for 5 and Bilal for 10 runs. Afnan Karim then stepped up to hit 50 runs and Adamjee Tai got 19 runs but Sohaib, Hammad, Umair and Shahzaib all fell for ducks as Warriors crumbled to 107 all out on a spinning track. For Hill Park cc, Yasir Manzoor was in devastating form as he took 6 wickets for just 18 runs while Asif, Abdul Wahab, Abdul Wali and Shah Husain picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Hill Park lost the man in form, Fauz for just 7 runs while Waleed was out for 15 and captain Muzammil Mehboob got a duck. However, Rameez with 24 runs and Abdul Wali with 23 runs and Shah Husain with 28 runs ensured that Hill Park were able to chase down the low target forthe loss of 5 wickets and with 16 balls to spare. For Warriors, Salman took 3 wickets while Hunain and Ubaid picked up a wicket each.
Hill Park CC won by 5 wickets.
