Halari Hawks batted first against Vanthali Warriors at the Memon Cricket League with Yousuf Halari taking charge. His valuable 71 not out was instrumental helping Hawks reach a formidable target. Noman Ampara also chipped in with 34 runs before Taha Zindani's explosive 71 off just 42 balls boosted Halari Hawks to 194 for 2 in 20 overs. Warriors bowlers were helpless against the onslaught, unable to take wickets when needed to pull back the opposition.
In response, Vanthali Warriors were off to a strong start in the chase when both openers did well to contribute runs with the bat. Khurram's 48 and Rameez Mehboob's 40 but things seem to fall apart after the duo were dismissed. With the exception of Farrukh's 27, none of the other batsmen were able to capitalize on the foundation set. Taha Zindani and Yousuf Halari were having the game of their life taking 2 wickets each to restrict Warriors to just 167 for 8 in 20 overs.
