Buffields chased down a target of 78 with ease against The Team to book their place in semi finals in Ramzan Super League.
It was a big day for both the teams as semi final place was in sight for them. The Team batted first and got off to a brilliant start just what they were hoping for. Hamza and Sabih smashed the bowlers all around the park. Both did not show respect to any bowler and scored boundaries to give their team a bright start. Sabih had to retire for 33 of just 12. After his departure, no one could really create an impact. It was the time when they should have taken advantage of the start but the opposite happened. They lost 3 quick wickets and Hamza remained not out for 28 but the end was not an ideal one for The Team.
With the momentum shifted in their favour, Buffield started their innings on a positive note. There was no concept of singles and doubles in their chase. The openers Zain and Saad were the first to start the onslaught. The pair added more than 50 runs together and at a quick pace. Zain's inning had to come to a break when he reached 31, he had to retire which allowed Bilal to come in and he took charge from ball one. He continued from where Zain left scored 18 of just 7 and Saad managed to score 24 of 8. The Team bowlers were out of sorts and did not show any discipline as they gave away a total of 24 extras.
In the end Buffields storm into semi final as they easily chased down the target of 78 only in 3.3 overs.
