Zamzam Sports batted first and they were off to a bad start losing quick wickets at the top without much contribution. The opening bowlers, Azhar Mehmood and Kaashan Rauf did a decent job restricting the opposition in the initial overs and not allowing them much runs. And on the other hand, Wasif Mahmood held one end together and scored a brilliant 59 of 40 balls smashing the bowlers all around the park and he scored 5 fours and 1 six during his innings. He was supported by Faizan Khalid who scored 43 of 28 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. The bowling was good as well as Azhar Mehmood was the most successful bowler picking up the 2 wickets and Kaashan, Yasir and Gul picked up 1 each. In the end Zamzam Sports managed to score 154.
In response, Feroze 1888 Mills innings got off to a reasonable start and their openers Gul and Aftab formed a solid little partnership at the top. Gul managed to score 11 of 12 whereas Aftab got 23 of 13 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Both the batsmen were dismissed by Akram Khan, and after them Kaashan Rauf partnered with Rizwan to take the innings forward they scored 19 and 12 respectively. The top order got starts but none could carry the innings forward and that was the main problem for Feroze 1888 Mills. The game was slipping out of Feroze 1888 Mills but lower down the order Waqar Ahmed and Yasir Iqbal gave them a fighting chance with their little partnership but that was not enough. Faizan Khalid was the main contributor with the ball picking up 3 wickets whereas Rafiq and Akram picked up 2 each. In the end Feroze 1888 Mills fell short by 11 runs.
