A brilliant all round performance by the Zamzam Sports, allowed its members to walk the glory road with their heads held high with an amazing victory.
Fida Khan gave a rocking start to the Zamzam Sports in the first innings against the Karachi Flames. He scored an incredible 59 runs off 49 balls from which he hit 9 boundaries. Wasif Mahmood was sent back for a duck but his damage was covered by Rafiq Khatak who was the third man in for his team. He portrayed top form with his performance and he scored an amazing 92 runs off 54 balls. He played some amazing shots which included 7 boundaries and 6 massive sixes. Faizan Khalid kept the scoreboard running and added 25 runs to the total. Umair Adamjee was the highest wicket taker for the Karachi Flames with his amazing spell of 2 overs and picked up 2 wickets. Zamzam Sports scored a total of 194 runs in 20 overs.
Umair Admajee was in great shape and was looking forward for an early win over the Zamzam Sports. With his amazing performance with the ball in the first innings, his team was looking forward to even a better performance in the second innings. Umair Adamjee got things underway and scored 44 runs for his team. Muhammad Arsalan and Mahroof Maqsood carried a brilliant partnership of 76 runs. Karachi Flame was doing a pretty good job with the bat but the Zamzam Sports wasn't letting them go that easy. Zamzam Sports came out with a very strong bowling attack. Faizan Khalid bowled an amazing spell of 4 overs and picked up 3 wickets. Karachi Flames lost 8 wickets and scored 164 runs in 20 overs and the batsmen weren't able to get anywhere near the target.
