Zenith Associates batted first & were off to a decent start. Yasir Bangash scored 26 runs & Ejaz Shah played a sublime knock of 52 runs off just 19 deliveries. Daniyal Liaquat came in next & played a fiery innings of 49 runs off just 15 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as the bowlers dominated the second half of the innings. Zain Anwar ripped apart the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Zia Ullah & Afroz Hassan who picked up a couple of wickets each. Zenith Associates were bolwed out for 185 runs.
Ali Sports came in to chase this target. Their openers gave them a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket in the powerplay they kept the score board ticking at a good rate. Kashif Khan smashed a 36 ball 51 & Zain Anwar scored a clinical 44 off 30 balls. The bowlers struggled to pickup wickets but were doing a good job in controlling the run rate. Afroz Hassan tried to up the anti scoring a 25 ball 46 but it was too little too late. Rehman Ghani picked up 2 wickets.
