Jubilee Life Insurance came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Both their openers Ibad Anis & Muhammad Hafeez were in fine form & they made full use of the form putting up a partnership of 100+ runs. Both the batsmen scored at a healthy rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Muhammad Hafeez departed after scoring 40 runs off 45 deliveries. Ibad Anis followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 50 runs off 45 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers made their comeback. The bowlers then picked up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed. Muhammad Hasnain managed to score 17 runs off 11 deliveries at the back end of the innings. Imran Chughtai was sensational with the ball as he lead the bowling attack picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Anus Khan who picked up a couple of wickets. Jubilee Life Insurance posted a total of 155 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Adamjee General Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Tariq scored 16 off 12 where as Sarim Khan scored 13 off 8. Ajaz Ali also contributed with his 16 off 15. Once he was dismissed the bowlers tightened their grip onto the game. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Usman Siddiqui showed some sort of a fight back as he stood tall from one end scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Despite him scoring at a healthy rate the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Usman Siddiqui played a fighting innings of 47 runs off 36 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him to achieve alone. Zohaib Rizwan was unplayable with the ball as he single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. Hr found good support from Muhammad Mohsin who picked up a couple of wickets.
