Dalal Industries came in to bat first & were off to a flyer start. Despite loosing a wicket early on Zubair Dilawar & Asif Siddiqui scored at a high rate. Zubair Dilawar was absolutely brutal as he smashed the bowlers towards all parts of the ground. Asif Siddiqui played second fiddle to him as he managed to score 22 runs off 20 deliveries. Haider Ali Bangash & scored with the same intent. He played a fiery innings of 36 runs off 21 deliveries where as Zubair Dilawar continued to hit the ball cleanly. Zubair Dilawar showed an absolute master class of power hitting as he played a sublime knock of 107 runs off just 54 deliveries, an innings which consisted of 4 boundaries & 10 towering sixes. Mehmood Shah was able to pickup a couple of wickets but the rest of the bowlers went for plenty. Dalal Industries posted a huge total of 192 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
National Foods came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Ali Nasir & Khawar Ilyas then put up a decent partnership bringing their team back on track. Ali Nasir scored 35 runs off 37 deliveries where as Khawar Ilyas scoref quick fire 31 runs off 20 deliveries. Syed Aniq Shah chipped in with his 16 off 17. The bowlers then made their comeback & were absolutely unplayable. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Asad Butt lead the bowling attack as he picked up 3 wickets. He found good support from Mir Azizullah & Raza Tahir who picked up a couple of wickets each.
