UBL batted first and delivered a spectacular performance, led by Zubair Dilawar’s breathtaking 150 off just 52 balls. His innings, studded with 13 fours and 13 sixes, was a masterclass in power hitting, dismantling the bowlers with ease. Zubair’s ability to find gaps and clear the boundary at will kept the scoreboard ticking at an electrifying pace. Shahid provided excellent support with a quickfire 60 off 28, while Jamal Uddin added an unbeaten 35 off 13 to ensure a mammoth total of 304/5. Abdul Wasay and Muhammad Zahid managed to pick up 2 wickets each but couldn’t stem the flow of runs.
In response, Samba Bank’s chase faltered early, losing 5 wickets in quick succession. Faraz Sandhu fought valiantly with 72 off 42, and Faraz Khan contributed an unbeaten 38 off 20. However, their efforts were insufficient to match the towering target. Tariq Khan led UBL’s bowling attack with 3 wickets, while Arsalan Hanif chipped in with 2.
UBL secured a commanding victory by 150 runs.
